What have U done 4 Your stretchmarks??
Well, I did everything I could to prevent them…My mother only has one. I vitamin E’d myself every night, put plastic wrap over it, drank plenty of water and ate living veggies and fruits. Five months along, I noticed two marks, that, within a month’s time, turned into twenty. Now I am eight months along. What is the best product you have used??? I’ve tried palmers cocoa butter, burt’ s bees belly butter, baby oil, olive oil, Mederma, a combination of all the above. I’ve used extensively Rexall Sundown pure Vitamin E in a squirt bottle (70,000 IU) I am also currently using Revitol, which I have spent 120 dollars on. All it is doing is lightening them, not preventing them like it promised. What can I do to lighten them?? what is the best thing you have done??

Nothing which mine are not really noticable. I am proud of them though.
They do lighten a bit over time. I have found no ‘miracle cure’ to make them disappear. So I accept it as my "battle scars" for having risked my life to bring new life into this world.

there is nothing that can take stretch marks away, but it wil only lighten them… i use mederma and it works really good
I like the first answer!!! I used everything and nothing helped. They will lighten by the time your baby is a year. (I promise) It’s basically scar tissue.
unfortunately there is nothing you really can do. Stretch marks are mostly genetic…
Creams, moisturizers, lotions- they don’t take away stretch marks, those products only moisturize your skin. If you truly want them to go away (Fast) then I suggest you go to get Lazer Removal of Stretch Marks… that will reduce the appearance significantly.
I’ve got a million of them from my weight fluctuations, and yup, I wish there was some miracle cream out there, however, there is a miracle tool, called the Lazer.

theres nothing you can do but deal with them they do fade after time but even plastic surgery will not get rid of them. they say taking wheat germ can prevent them also it just means that your skin hasnt enough elasticity and its stretching farther than your skin will allow which is causing the stretch marks. if you are doing everything you say you are then there isnt anything left to do that i can think of.once you have the baby and lose the baby weight they probably will become a lot more lighter. I have them and a lot of them in certain areas you cannot tell they are there now the ones on my belly look like someone etched flames onto my belly and my youngest kid is now 12. hubby always told me I should get flames tattooed over them. my mom had 5 kids and never got a stretchmark in her life.i guess you just say well a real woman has stretch marks and go on from there lol.
I wouldn’t use too many products during your pregnancy, you just never know if it is going to soak in and cause problems. I tried many things too and nothing seemed to work. The main thing to understand is some of the streatch marks are where the dermis & epidermis layers actually tear from the streatching in the area. This really can’t be repaired. It is damaged. They tend to fade some, but no product i ever tried makes them go away. Especially where the skin layers have torn apart.
No marks yet… not noticable anyway. I’m using a body butter from a home town soap store that has Vit. E in it.
